Rob and Julia met in October 2021 after connecting through the app, Bumble. Their first date was at a local wine bar, and Julia made a lasting impression by forgetting where she parked my car in the labyrinth of NULU side streets. Luckily, Rob was not deterred and it gave them even more time to chat and become comfortable with each other. As they got to know each other, their common interests and life experiences began to surface. Their love for animals, food, and travel became central pillars of our relationship. They have taken many trips together, domestic and abroad, and taken every excuse to try a new fancy restaurant together. Rob's passion for national parks has been rubbing off on Julia as well.

Both families have been exceptionally welcoming toward each other. Although their cultural backgrounds are different in many ways, they are able to find common ground and understanding. Scarlett (Rob's dog) accepted Julia, allowing her to become her new dog-mom. This was further evidence that the relationship would last.

Rob and Julia became engaged on December 24th, 2023 after Rob proposed during an evening stroll along the beach in Miami. They're excited to see what future adventures life has in store, and can't wait to celebrate with you!
